Stephen Wayne Clark was born in Memphis,
TN and moved to Thayer, MO at the age of five.
He began singing in grade school, first performing as a soloist in the eighth grade. His first band
was formed in high school and groups bearing his name have performed all over the United
States.
Stephen plays
guitar, bass, and keyboard. He studied voice at Southwest Missouri State University
in Springfield, MO.
Upon
arriving in Branson, MO, in 1991, Stephen joined the team at Andy Williams’ Moon River Theatre.
Over the next three years he sang and danced in two shows a day six days a week with Andy for a total of well over
1000 shows and two National t. v. specials that still air on PBS today. Stephen received International
recognition when he was featured in a documentary by the Seoul Broadcasting System; Seoul Korea and he has worked with some
of the industry greats. One of his first sessions was singing tenor for Andy Williams on a little song Andy wrote for Branson.
Stephen has worked as a vocalist and a producer both in the studio and on stage and says he enjoys producing, but performing
is his passion.
Stephen is now performing shows
daily at the Wood Grill Buffet in Pigeon Forge, TN which is currently the Largest Buffet Restaurant in the US with well over
800 seats. Where he does his own mix of classic country music and
great family entertainment.
On June 26, 1999; Stephen married
his kindergarten sweetheart, Melissa Gail Pitts in Cancun, Mexico. Melissa is a
speech pathologist, but she now works with Stephen in the business. They make their home in Pigeon Forge, TN.
An incredibly energetic and versatile performer, Stephen Wayne Clark is an artist on the way to stardom.
With his powerful voice, unique style and sound he can take you to the depth of your emotions. Stephen
touches people from the very young to the young at heart.
